Our Youth Program includes riding lessons, and Equine safety instruction. Your child will learn how to communicate with a horse, develop good horsemanship and riding skills. Riding lessons help a child develop self-esteem, confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

  • How to Bridle & Saddle a Horse
  • How to Communicate with Horses
  • Develop Confidence, Self Esteem &
    Sense of Accomplishment
  • Learn How to Clean & Maintain Horse Tack
  • Observe Feeding & Care of Horses
  • Learn About Various Breeds of Horses &
    the Different Needs of Different Breeds.

It's a Great Opportunity to Observe Professional Horse Training, and Observe Horses Performing in Western and English Activities, Hunt-Jump and Dressage Riding Activities for Future Goals in Desired Horsemanship.

One-Day Horse Camp:

Student Requirements for Horse Summer Camps:

  1. Between Ages 5-16
  2. Wear Blue Jeans or English Riding Pants
  3. Wear Smooth Sole Shoes or Boot with Heel
    (no tennis shoes)
  4. Sweatshirt or Jacket (if cool)
  5. Bring a Snack, Lunch and Drink for Daily Picnic
  6. Both Students & Parents Read & Sign Equine Activity Liability Act Form.

Armstrong Riding Stables Provide Professional Qualified Instructors and Well Trained Horses for Students of all Levels. Licensed Professional Horse Trainer - Instructor. State Approved Qualified Person for Supervision of Students. Safety Helmets (ASTM-SEI) Certified Approved for Student Riding. Each Student is provided with a T-Shirt and a Souvenir Picture on their Favorite Horse. Snacks and Beverages will be provided to Students.
